蘇世雄(1935-2023)教授，
2010年國家工藝成就獎得主。
他的一生，奉獻給藝術，
既是一位創作者，
也是一位收藏家，
更是一位藝術教育家，培養後進無數。

臺南是他懸命所在，
從出生、成長、求學、服務….，
他像一隻勤奮工作的蜜蜂，
採粉、傳播、釀蜜……，
不斷吸納、蘊釀、創生，
耕耘出一片絢麗的南國花園。

在他辭世的2023年底，
原本已策劃進行的大型回顧展，
也轉為紀念展，
當作是所有敬愛他的親人、朋友，
對他最後的致敬與告別；
並且以他獨創的釉雕作品，呈顯他豐美、絢爛、充滿創意的一生。

Professor Su Shi-xiong  (1932-2023),
recipient of the 2010 National Craft Achievement Award.
Throughout his life, he dedicated himself to the arts,
serving as both a creator and a collector.
Above all, he was an art educator, nurturing countless successors.

Tainan was the object of his life’s dedication.
From birth, through growth, education, and service
he was like a diligent working bee,
collecting pollen, spreading it, and producing honey.
Constantly absorbing, nurturing, and creating
He cultivated a splendid garden in the south.

After his passing this year,
the initially planned large retrospective exhibition,
has transformed into a commemorative exhibition
one which represents a final tribute and farewell
from all his beloved family and friends.
With his uniquely crafted glazed sgraffito works,
we aim to showcase his rich, vibrant, and creative life.
