內容簡介

臺南擁有豐富的有形資產與無形的文化技藝，除了需要加以保存，再現其於昔日的輝煌面貌，避免隨著匠師老化凋零和替代技術的發展而逐漸佚失，更重要的是，期望能從傳統文化的藝術沃土中，提供今日生活美學甚至是當代藝術的創意養分，進而拉近人們與傳統藝術的距離，以及民藝、生活與歷史互動對話的嶄新空間。

Tainan has a rich tangible heritage as well as intangible cultural techniques.We need to preserve these and restore their past glory, so these would not be gone due to the loss of aged artisans and the development of other substituting techniques. More importantly, we expect to provide inspiration for today's living aesthetics and contemporary art from the rich soil of traditional arts. In so doing, we might eliminate the distance between people and traditional arts, creating an interactive dialogue between folk art, living, and history.
